So i've had an email this morning about changes to the eligibility rules for hsbc premier accounts. Otherwise, as suggested above, an account in the channel islands. Passed online test, did job simulation and awaiting feedback

More and more people are not using solicitors to obtain probate, but the banks are not giving an easy vehicle to open an executor/administrator account for estate proceeds All the banks appear to have different rules for opening these kind of accounts, if they offer them at all. If you already have a few hsbc savings accounts, the gic isa uninvested cash account doesn't really serve any purpose Especially frustrating when you’re trying to keep things simple and automated.

An interesting email from hsbc Firstly inviting me to apply to upgrade to hsbc premier (from advance) but also if i invest £100k between 15th oct & 15th dec then can earn £1k cashback on 31st january 2026.
