Hello, i’m currently facing a major issue with helldivers 2 updates Whenever an update starts (like today, may 20, 2025, with an 11.8 gb patch), the download is fast thanks to my fiber connection, but steam’s file update phase shows over 3 hours and 20 minutes remaining After checking what’s causing the delay, i noticed that one of my hdds is running at 100% usage during this update. The helldivers in particular are almost entirely from this group
After the update, i can take a few steps in the game before it freezes completely, so badly that even ctrl+alt+del doesn't work (win11), and i have to restart the pc using the reset button

Fix that worked for me was manually deleting the data folder and verifying integrity of game files again via steam.
